Really beautiful room, we were upgraded to the suite which was spacious. Breakfast was delicious and served in our room, but you can have it next to the pretty pool area.

This is a restaurant with a small hotel as part of it. The service was excellent and the room acceptable but not up to the standard one would expect for the price. The walk into the Historic Centre took around 20 mins but you would not want to walk back after dark, the lighting was poor and a lot of dog mess to avoid. The restuarant is a must if you enjoy gastronomique fare, but beware that on a Saturday they do not offer the 85Eu set menu, just the 125 and 170 Eu menus plus a la carte. This set us back over 300 Eu and have previously enjoyed eating equally as well for less than half the price. The staff made our stay well worth while, reception was particularly helpful and we will remember our stay for some time to come.

We had high expectations of this exclusive gourmet hotel and we were not disappointed. Well appointed room, gracious attentive staff, and gourmet food to die for! Swimming pool area was well maintained with plenty of sunbeds and quality towels. Expensive by most standards, but it delivers an exceptional gourmet hotel experience that you'll never forget... for all the right reasons!

Slow internet connection located in annex to the shop, opposite the reception desk. Most likely this is not the fault of the hotel but rather a technical limitation of the area. Guests have free unlimited internet access which helps mitigate the frustration of the slow dial-up connection.

From the minute we arrived the staff were very helpful and this continued through to the end. We could not get into the restaurant as it was fully booked however the room service was superb - just like being in the restaurant but a lot more comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our experience and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I would have liked to eat at the restaurant.

Our biggest motivation to go to the hotel was its restaurant and chef and when we got there it was closed. There should have been a notification about this in the internet while making the reservation.
